The workshop teaches the amazing process of turning goat’s milk into goat’s cheese.
An introduction to the world of cheeses, types of cheese, the various steps of production, basic principles for preserving cheese, the distinction between good and bad bacteria, and the benefits of goat cheese.
In the practical part: each participant will receive a burner and goat’s milk, and will produce cheese and season it according to his or her taste.
Afterwards, each participant will taste 4 types of goat cheese made in the dairy farm in order to assess the professional potential of the cheese he/she has prepared…(suitable for 10-50 participants)
The workshop includes a tour of the vineyards, an introduction into the world of the vintner, the different types of terroirs and their effect on the quality of the wine, various grape cultivars (red, white), specific information regarding the terroirs of the plateau region of Kerem ben Zimra, how to taste wine and using all five senses to taste the wine.
